Cookies are crunchy and often have a sweet and salt component not unlike chips. When we are angry there is often a craving for crunchy foods. After the holidays many have disappointments they are crunching over, but want to let go of the bad holiday food habit. What's a good transition food?
Crunchy dried apples are handy. http://www.vitacost.com/Bare-Fruit-Fat-FreeDried-Fat-Free-Granny-Smith-Apple-Chips I like these and the cinnamon ones that are sweeter. They're the right kind of crunch (as long as the bag isn't old and the apples have started to turn chewy, but that isn't bad either, just not the crisp crunch that I personally enjoy.) to tame the cookie cravings or chip fixations and are much easier on the body.
Be sure to get plenty of exercise and water right now too. Drop the past grievances and go into this new year with energy towards all of your great goals. You can start being who you want to be immediately and it is okay if you have a little crunching to do.
