The 5 elemental theory is a bit like the Vedic texts. It's enormous or as simple as you want it to be. Getting all of the elements into a meal can eliminate cravings and help to balance a person. You can also balance by eating foods that cancel out where you might be having a problem or foods that support the organ you need a boost in. It goes in a circular pattern to learn it best, but here just continuing from yesterday are a few foods for late summer and fall. To get you started you could just notice and incorporate a few more than perhaps you were and see how you feel. For some reason my chart would not copy.
